If you want that quick rich, sweet and decadent chocolate snack, here’ it is. These are so quick to make and the combination of the condensed milk and chocolate gives you the perfect sweet dessert with a mild cookie crunch. I whip this up quickly when I have announced guests and I want to surprise them with a pretty and very tasty dessert!
Prep time: 10 mins – Chilling time: 60 mins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups crushed tea biscuits and extra for rolling
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • 1 can condensed milk (about 400g)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chunks, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • chocolate sprinkles
  • coconut shavings
  • white sprinkles

Equipment:

Measuring cups
2 medium bowls
1 small baking sheet
Small plates (to put the decorative sprinkles or shavings in)

How to…..

Add condensed milk and cocoa to the crushed biscuits. Mix well. Form them into balls with your hands and roll them in the biscuits. Put them on the baking sheet and place in the fridge to chill.

While the chocolate balls are chilling, make the chocolate sauce. Mix the chocolate chunks and heavy cream in a heatproof bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals until they’re melted. Let it cool.

Remove the chocolate balls from the fridge. Dip each chocolate ball in the chocolate sauce. You can use a toothpick to dip them in and out. Place them back in the fridge to chill slightly, about 20-30 minutes. Put each of the coconut shavings, chocolate sprinkles and white sprinkles in a small plate. Remove from the fridge and roll some of the chocolate balls in the coconut shavings, some in the chocolate sprinkles and some in the white sprinkles. You can actually use any decorative items you want, or even crunched up cookies! Chill them again, and remove from the fridge when you want to eat them. Enjoy!
