About Me
Hi, I am Hannan, a self taught home baker.
I live in New York, and since COVID started I have been between two homes in New York and Khartoum. Before that, I have spent my whole life moving from one country to another from Africa to Asia to the Middle East to Europe to the Americas. I feel so lucky and privileged to have been welcomed in so many cultures and cuisines from around the world – especially the sweet dishes! I urge you to explore the many tastes that are out there – you will love it!
Each home we lived in brings with it different sweets and flavors. I’m the one who loves baking the sweet stuff, and the rest of the family the savory stuff, so it works out really well.
