Cake pops are so much fun. There couldn’t be a better way to turn your leftover cake and frosting into anything more delicious. The fun part is playing around with the decorations, and every decoration gives you a twist on the taste. I used crumbled cookies because I like the crunch with the chocolate – yumm.
Prep time: 20 mins – Chilling time: 30 minutes – Total time: 40 mins

Ingredients:

  • Leftover cake
  • Buttercream/Frosting leftover
  • 200 grams melted Chocolate
  • 20 crushed pistachios
  • Sprinkles

Equipment:

Small or medium bowl
Spatula
Lollipop sticks

How to…..

Crumble the cake leftover and mix it by hand or spatula with the buttercream. Shape them into balls and chill for 30 minutes or so. Take the lollipop sticks, pop their ends into melted chocolate and then stick them into the cake pops. Roll the cake pop in melted chocolate and then dip them in the decorations you want. I used sprinkles and pistachio crumbles. Let the cakes cool completely on a wire rack.
